Walkin'

Today is the day I decided I'd be a walker. I don't know why. But I think crawling is rather childish and I think it's time for me to be an adult.

Although I do like crawling.

But walking is better.

Reese walks. I want to impress her.

Walk walk walk walk walk walk walk.

Catch me if you can.

A New Game

Daddy and I played this new awesome game in the morning.

1. I tackle him. That usually starts all our games.
2. I crawl on his chest.
3. He picks me up and turns me around, so I'm facing his feet.
4. I stand up on his stomach.
5. He lifts his legs up straight.
6. I hold onto his legs.
7. Daddy sits up and his legs and I fall down.
8. Laugh.

Repeat.

Fun.

Reese's Birthday

Today was my girlfriend Reese's birthday. Mommy and I walked all the way down to the Marina to celebrate at her party. And from the first step to the last, I held onto a daisy to give to her.

I even wore a skirt and held a doll for her. That's how deep my love runs.

Happy birthday, Reese.

Mood Swung

I just wasn't feeling it today. Maybe it's still getting used to the whole organic milk thing. Maybe it was a cold I caught from Petra. Maybe I just woke up on the wrong side of the crib. I just wasn't me today. And I clung to Mommy as much as I can.

She actually dug that. I'm not much of a clinger.

I thought that was how my day would end, but then...voila! Auntie Pua showed up. I hadn't seen her in awhile, and she came to play. We got on the floor and she chased me. And then I tackled her. And then she read a book to me.

And then, when I was eating, I also decided to sing at the same time. And as you all know, I've got opera chops. And what did she do? Try to throw green peas into my open mouth. But she missed, over and over again. She hit my forehead and my cheek and one flew past me and hit the wall.

Ummm...what was I saying about having a bad day?

A New Trick

I wasn't really feeling it today. I woke up coughing and just felt blah throughout. I might have had a little fever. Who knows. I just wasn't really into playing much.

However, Mommy laid down on the glider and I made my way over to her. I latched myself onto her bare feet and was about to extend my arms to her in an effort to be held, but something funny happened: she jumped back and giggled. So I put my hands back on her feet, and she giggled again. Then I slightly ran my hand down her foot, and she laughed out loud.

Holy poopies! Mommy is ticklish on her feet.

This is something that definitely needs to go into my memory bank as a Weapon of Mom Diversion.
